Thirty years of fixing Revesby, one sore back at a time

If it hurts when you move, we can help
- Teenagers involved in sport and training
- Adults balancing work, exercise and family life
- Older adults focused on staying active and independent
- People wanting to move with less pain day to day
The usual suspects (and a few unusual ones)
People book a physio appointment for a wide range of reasons. Common presentations include:
- Sports injuries, both acute and long-standing
- Lower back pain and sciatica
- Neck pain and headaches
- Shoulder, knee, ankle and foot pain
- Overuse injuries including tennis elbow, Achilles tendonitis and plantar fasciitis
- Postural pain and upper back pain
- Workplace injuries and work-related strains
- Whiplash and accident-related injuries
- Arthritis and ongoing joint pain
- Post-operative rehabilitation
- Children’s injuries
- Movement restrictions and reduced mobility
- Dry Needling
Tools of the trade, minus the jargon
- Physiotherapy assessment and treatment. Hands-on treatment where it is clinically appropriate, combined with clear explanation so you understand what we have found and why we are treating it that way.
- Exercise rehabilitation. Structured, progressive programs built around your presentation and your goals rather than a generic handout.
- Clinical Pilates. We also offer Clinical Pilates classes at our centre. These sessions support strength, control and movement confidence under professional supervision. If you are unsure whether Clinical Pilates suits your situation, speak with your physio and we will guide you appropriately.
- Workplace and motor vehicle claims. Our physiotherapists manage workers compensation and CTP matters, including reporting and liaison with your case manager where required.
Our clinic has supported the Revesby community for 30 years. Over that time we have learned most people want the same thing: clarity about what is wrong, consistency in how it is managed, and progress they can actually feel.
Our physiotherapy team provides evidence-informed care in a well-established clinical environment. Whether you are managing a new injury, a recurring flare-up or pain that has persisted for months, treatment begins with a thorough assessment that looks beyond the sore spot.
Getting you back out there before your team forgets you
Our physiotherapists work with local and district sporting organisations including Revesby Swimming Club, St George District Cricket Club, St George Touch Football Association and South Sydney Junior Rugby League representative teams.
That work shapes how we handle sports injuries in the clinic. We handle in-season injuries weekly. The goal isn’t just treating the pain, but managing your training load while you recover. We also work through return-to-sport decisions properly rather than optimistically, because coming back too early is one of the most common reasons an injury recurs.
How we actually solve the problem
Most injuries have two parts: what is painful right now, and why it is happening in the first place. We address both.
- Step 1: A proper conversation. Your first appointment starts with a detailed discussion. We explore what triggers the pain, what aggravates it, what settles it and what you need to return to – whether that is sport, the gym, work, gardening or keeping up with family.
- Step 2: Early support to reduce pain. The initial focus is comfort and movement. This may include hands-on treatment where appropriate, guided movement work, practical advice on modifying activity, and targeted exercises to restore confidence. The goal is to reduce irritation without unnecessary rest.
- Step 3: Identify the underlying drivers. Once symptoms settle, we assess movement patterns more deeply, looking for stiffness, weakness or overload in surrounding areas. Knee pain may relate to hip or ankle control. Back pain may relate to lifting patterns or sustained postures. This is usually where longer-term improvement begins.
- Step 4: Build strength and resilience. Rehabilitation is structured around your goals and may include progressive strengthening, mobility and movement control work, a graded return to sport or exercise, and strategies to reduce future flare-ups.
